Greetings Everyone!
The chill is in the air and most of us are already dreaming of those first few days on snow...
Well, we have quite the opportunity for the ski and snowboarders of Wild Mountain.
Have of you ever had a good idea for the terrain park? Do you want to be more involved, but don't know how? Are you interested in meeting other skiers and snowboarders that share your enthusiasm about park riding?
Guess what?! Wild Mountain is now accepting applications for the exciting and rewarding job of park crew! That's right, in addition to some extra perks on the hill - you can be part of some great volunteer experience and excellent material for your resumé!

Am Thrash Fall Bash - October 3
The first Am Thrash Rail Jam of the 09/10 season started out on Friday loading up a 6 ton dump trailer full of snow. Saturday morning with the help of the Wild park crew, we made a second trip with another trailer full of snow to have enough for the rail jam. We had two features, a flat rail, and two boxes set up for the riders and skiers to session. Snowboarders and some hardcore skiers threw down during the warm ups showing us that riding and skiing in October was definitely possible.
After some fine tuning by the park crew we were ready for the main event.
The top grom winner was Garrett Mckenzie. On the other side of the age spectrum was Jon Nouwen winning the old guy award. Of the few skiers that were there, Jacob Blair blew everyone away with his skills on the box. Sean Drummond had the scariest wipeout of the day combining back spins and a swirl of wet carpet for the biggest bail award. The King of the Rail winner was Nate Johnson. Mason Crawford was tearing up the box with multiple combo runs making it look too easy and won the King of the Box. At the end of the comp we had a battle between Nate and Mason for the overall rail champ and Nate threw it down for the win, and some cash on top of it.,
The king has been crowned! At the Minnesota King Of the Hill 2008 comp on saturday this shop took crown in both the Snowboard & Freestyle ski divisions at this year's Shop Wars Comp.
Congrats PINEWSKIS!
